The Scallop, Aldeburgh

from £40.00

This was shot on a late Autumn day on Aldeburgh’s beach, looking out to sea and the controversial ‘Scallop’ sculpture, which I love.

Created by local born artist Maggi Hambling, the Scallop is a tribute to composer Benjamin Britten who lived in Aldeburgh and walked almost daily along the stretch of coastline between there and Thorpeness.

Available in ‘A’ sizes without any border and also in my preferred 400x500mm format with a large white border. If you’d like something bigger, or smaller, contact me here.

‘A’ size and 400x500mm frames are readily available online, but why not contact your local framer and help support their business.

Printed in London using the Giclée printing process on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper which has a super matt non-reflective finish and produces brilliant colours, deep blacks and incredible detail.
